STEP 02
Vehicle Preparation
One of the most vital steps in the process, the expertise and dedication of the paint prep will determine the overall quality of the job. If done properly this is an extensive process when complete results in a vehicle which looks better than it did fresh off the production line.
- Vehicle WashUsing a concentrated shampoo we first perform a thorough wash of the vehicle to remove oils, surface scum and general contaminates, expressing dirt from cracks and seals to ensure no contamination.
- Heavy Metal RemovalSpecialized Iron removal detergents are used to remove metals embedded within the clear coat surface. These often come from brake dust, production and vehicle transport. This step is repeated until complete, not performed once and forgotten.
- Clay Bar ExpressionA clay bar is exactly what it sounds like a bar of clay with a mild agitant which breaks free embedded particles and traps them within the product. This step is repeated with several compounds until the paint is free and bare.
- Paint CorrectionA professional grade buffing compound is applied to the paint and polished to maximize the finish of the paint, remove swirls or light scratch marks, clear coat haze. Many believe since their vehicle is new this may not be needed, your technicians will evaluate each vehicle panel to determine the exact level of correction which will ensure the best results and preservation of the clear coat.
STEP 03
Installation
There are levels to this process. Each install is not the same.
The standard for our install is to be as unseen as possible, your installer will install each panel with a hybrid of pre-cut and bulk patterns to ensure maximum coverage, minimal appearance, and long lasting bond. After laying the patterns the vehicle is allowed an initial “cure” so we can heat treat each panel and seal the edges to maximize the bond of the adhesive on every edge. The 2nd “curing” stage begins where we heat cycle the entire vehicle, this will agitate any improperly bonded edges so they can be treated in a controlled environment.
STEP 04
Quality Control
After the full curing process has been completed, a separate technician will review the work, perform any adjustment which may be needed and confirm each procedure was followed fully.
STEP 05
Final Detail
We finally perform a full interior and exterior wipe down to erase the final evidence of our hard work. It’s better sweet the protection is nearly invisible after all this hard work!

PPF Nightmares
When the start of the process is rushed, all of the rest will suffer. Preparing the vehicle exterior for application is a very delicate and often time consuming process. If this is rushed it will certainly lead to issues, some you may notice right away, others which do not appear until you are far down the road!
Poor Installation Damage
Inexperienced installers can leave exposed edges, bad trims, or even cut into your paint, permanently damaging the vehicle.
Dirt Left Under PPF
Dirt left during installation can damage both your original paint and the PPF
When you choose the wrong installer PPF can be a real nightmare, low-grade PPF materials are notorious for breaking down prematurely, removal of these degraded PPF can quickly cost more then the install itself. Investing in high-grade protection initially will save you time and money in the long run.
Damaged PPF Removal
Cause by low quality materials and a bad installation
Bubbles Forming under PPF
Bubbles under PPF can happen from bad installation and extreme heat exposure
The Material itself is only a part of the battle when it comes to choosing the right installer, Since PPF is a completely hand installed product, a lack of care from the installer can result in a job which does not provide full coverage and edges which fail prematurely, An installer without the proper training and experience can permanently damage the vehicle which you worked so hard for. This is an ugly truth that many try to sweep under the rug. These issues often arise as a result of rushing or cutting corners, efforts commonly practiced by shops which rely on discounting their work to win a client.
